The likes of Idina Menzel, Black Eyed Peas, Jimmy Fallon, Lea Michele, and TLC also show up to celebrate the holiday at the annual parade in New York City.

AceShowbiz - Singers Ciara, Idina Menzel, and Kelly Rowland braved strong winds in New York City on Thursday, November 28 to perform in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Celine Dion helped to get the festivities off to a start with a pre-taped performance of her new song, Imperfections, before the live portion of the annual Big Apple holiday celebration began.

Menzel entertained fans as she rode behind a huge "Frozen II" float, while Ciara, Rowland, and TLC all wrapped up warm as they sang for the crowds.

The event also featured live sets from the likes of the Black Eyed Peas, Chicago, NCT 127, Lea Michele, and Jimmy Fallon and The Roots.

The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade almost had to go ahead without its traditional colourful big balloons due to the blustery weather conditions, but New York Police Department authorities announced the decorations would be allowed to fly at lower levels than normal just moments before the show's start.
