The 'Can't Feel My Face' hitmaker is reportedly going to open up on his relationship with the 'Lose You to Love Me' singer after registering a song with her name on it.

AceShowbiz - The Weeknd appears to have used his split from Selena Gomez as inspiration for a new song, after registering tune title "Like Selena" with ASCAP (the American Sociecty of Composers, Authors and Publishers).

It remains to be seen what the singer, real name Abel Tesfaye, recalls of the 10-month relationship in the song, but he began teasing his musical comeback on his Instagram page on Monday, November 25. Sharing a blurry black and white image, he wrote, "The fall starts tomorrow night."

Uploading the same picture to his Instagram Stories, he captioned it, "Tomorrow night we start again."

The cryptic shots come after he announced the first single from his upcoming fourth studio album will be called "Blinding Lights", followed by a tune entitled "Heartless".

The Weeknd and Selena began dating in January 2017, but called time on their romance in October that year.

Fans believe he used the relationship to inspire his previous song "Call Out My Name", while he's reported to have scrapped an entire album about his former love.
