When announcing his return to Stockholm for a concert, the 'Wild for the Night' rapper expresses his interest in going back to the detention center where he was held for more than a month.

AceShowbiz - A$AP Rocky would "love to" perform for inmates at the Swedish prison where he was held earlier this year.

The hip-hop star was incarcerated in July after being charged over an altercation on 30 June. After behind held behind bars for more than a month, he was eventually freed ahead of a guilty verdict for assault, announced in August, and allowed to leave the country.

The rapper announced he will return to the Swedish capital, Stockholm, for a gig at the Ericsson Globe venue on December 11 and is interested in performing at the prison while he is in town. However, he doubts permission will be granted.

"Being that it's a maximum-security lock down detention center where you've got to stay in a room for 23 hours a day, I doubt they'll let those people get a performance," he tells TMZ.

The rapper, real name Rakim Mayers, made headlines after he and two members of his entourage were arrested for assaulting a man following a concert in Stockholm.

He and his team claimed they acted in self-defense, but a district court found all three guilty of assault, handing down a two-year suspended sentence and ordering them to pay the victim damages. Due to the time already served in detention, they avoided a custodial sentence.
