During a press conference in Madrid, the Spanish model assures that the 'Hunger Games' actor is coping well after he and the 'Malibu' singer decided to call an end to their marriage.

AceShowbiz - Ever since his divorce from Miley Cyrus made headlines, Liam Hemsworth has been quietly enjoying his time out of the limelight. Fans have been dying to know what the Australian hunk has been doing since that time, and his sister-in-law Elsa Pataky was more than willing to share an update on him during a recent conference in Madrid. While doing so, the model sneakily shaded Miley.
Telling reporters at a launch event of the Christmas campaign of lingerie brand Women's Secret, she said, "My brother-in-law, well... After a relationship that you've dedicated ten years to, he's a little bit down, but he's coping well, he's a strong boy and he deserves that." Elsa then throw a subtle jab at Miley by saying that Liam "deserves much better" than the Disney alum.
She also mentioned that Liam had been spending a lot of time with Chris Hemsworth ever since the split. "You always find support in your family, and he's joined at the hip with his brother, who has been there to give all the strength he needed," Elsa continued.
It was surely surprising to see Elsa shading Miley like that. After all, the two ladies had been the closest friends when the "Malibu" singer was still in relationship with Liam. They even got matching tattoos and often hung out together at Byron Bay in Australia. Last January, Elsa also gushed over Miley and said that all her kids love her.
"We love it because she's just so creative. So any moment, on any circumstance, she actually just writes a song, so we love her and having her around is fun," the Spanish beauty said to Entertainment Tonight, adding, "She's amazing and my kids love her, and she has an amazing voice."
Miley and Liam announced split earlier this year after less than a year of marriage and a decade together. The former has since moved on with Cody Simpson, while "The Hunger Games" actor was rumored to be dating Maddison Brown.
