The 'Follow God' rapper's plan to build an amphitheater on his Wyoming ranch is put to a stop by officials because he doesn't get a permit for the project.

AceShowbiz - Kanye West has been told to stop a construction of an amphitheater on his ranch near Cody, in Wyoming. The Park County Planning and Zoning Commission made the decision on Tuesday, November 19 after the rapper changed his plans for the structure.

According to TMZ, the rapper submitted documents to build a 70,684-square-foot amphitheater on his sprawling Monster Lake Ranch. The construction had been in the works, with construction crews seen on the property moving large amounts of land to clear a footprint.

Kanye was reportedly told to stop construction when county officials visited the site after he submitted his building permit application. After subsequent visits, officials found out that his team ignored the mandate and kept working.

The "Black Skinhead" hitmaker bought the ranch earlier this year and plans to move the headquarters of his shoe and clothing company, Adidas Yeezy, to Cody. He reportedly proposed meditation space as the purpose of the building at the beginning, but later changed his plans and told county officials that he now wants to include residential space.

Kanye's team has been told to stop the construction immediately, and that he needs to submit a whole new building permit application. Kane Morris with Point Architects in Cody has apologized, saying the 42-year-old star came forward as soon as he changed his mind and will stop the work.

Kanye previously was forced to tear down prototypes for a housing community that he proposed in Calabasas. By September 9, all but one of the dome-shaped structures were torn down after the L.A. County Dept. of Public Works gave him a September 15 deadline to destroy the prototypes because they violated the building code. TMZ reported that the husband of Kim Kardashian planned to build an egalitarian community in the property, but he didn't get the proper permits to build them.
