The 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' star cut short her appearance at BravoCon in New York City on Sunday as her father Giacinto Gorga suffered a medical emergency.

AceShowbiz - Teresa Giudice is dealing with another family crisis amid Joe Giudice's deportation appeal. The reality TV star recently cut short her appearance at BravoCon in New York City as her father Giacinto Gorga suffered a medical emergency.

"The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star celebrated the third day of the convention with her co-stars, but she had to leave early to take her ailing father to the hospital. "Sorry, BravoCon fans," she told her followers on Instagram Stories, alongside a video which showed an ambulance truck in the distance.

"I had to leave," she continued, before explaining, "My dad doesn't feel well. I'm taking him to the hospital."

Teresa has not shared an update on her father's condition, but her brother Joe Gorga tells Page Six that Giacinto "has pneumonia." He adds of his 74-year-old father, "He's alright. He's not that bad, hopefully. He'll be okay. So let's see what happens." Joe says he's not sure when his father will be released from the hospital.

Meanwhile, a source tells Radar Online that Teresa remains by her father's side in the hospital. The source says, "She was there all last night and this morning." One day before Giacinto was rushed to the hospital, Teresa shared during her "RHONJ" panel about her father's health, "He's not doing that great. His breathing is still bad."

Giacinto has struggled with health issues in recent years. In October 2018, he was admitted twice in the span of one week due to his worsening pneumonia. He was also hospitalized for the same issue in 2017.

In a video shared by his son Joe on Instagram, the reality TV grandfather was heard saying, "I'm gonna go see my wife. I miss my wife," amid his last pneumonia battle. His wife and Teresa's mother Antonia passed away in 2017.
