Before the 20th annual ceremony had even begun in Las Vegas, the 'Senorita' singer picked up the Best Pop Song trophy for her collaboration with Alejandro Sanz.

AceShowbiz - Camila Cabello was an early winner at the Latin Grammys on Thursday, November 14, picking up the Best Pop Song award before the ceremony had even begun in Las Vegas.

During a pre-ceremony presentation, she and Spanish pop star Alejandro Sanz were awarded the trophy for their collaboration "Mi Persona Favorita".

Rosalia was also a winner heading into the event at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, scoring honours for Best Contemporary Pop Vocal Album and Best Packaging for "El Mal Querer", and bachata legends Juan Luis Guerra and 4.40 claimed the Best Tropical Song for their 2019 single "Kitipun".

Chilean singer Mon Laferte won the Best Alternative Album for "Norma", and during her acceptance speech, she read out a poem written by an unnamed friend, dedicated to those fighting government repression in Chile.

The 36-year-old shocked on the red carpet by exposing her bare chest, on which she'd written "en Chile torturan violan y matan" (in Chile they torture, rape, and kill) with a black marker pen.
