The 'If I Don't Have You' singer takes to Twitter to explain her bizarre rant that has since been removed, saying it was 'based off a conversation with [her] friends.'

AceShowbiz - Tamar Braxton responded to backlash over her recent Instagram rant that has since been deleted. The 42-year-old singer was accused of being homophobic after she claimed that man must have been gay if he didn't touch his girlfriend for three days.
She took to Twitter to clear up her statement. "Y'all know I'm going live," she wrote to her online followers. "If you are in ya bag (upset), ya shouldn't be. I shouldn't have been in My feelings, & ranted on social media based off a conversation with my friends."
The mother of one additionally clarified that her rant was not about her boyfriend David Adefeso. "I was talking about me but not me and David," she explained before adding, "I've been through a lot. This is why I stay on my fake page [laugh emoji]."
On Instagran Stories, she beat herself up for posting the rant. "We all say stupid s**t," so she wrote.
Braxton previously wrote, "The truth is ladies that these dudes out here really be gay. It ain't enough money, beauty, hair, babies in the world to keep them!! They want d***!! Periodt!! It's nothing wrong with you, but they will find EVERY reason in the world to make u not good enough!!"
"If he lays with you for 3, 4, 10 days and he don't touch u, it's NOT YOU!! HE WANT A MAN!! And that's on my momma," She continued in her bizarre post which she called a "public service announcement." "It's time someone says something!!!" she added in the caption.
She was soon flooded with criticisms. Journalist Ernest Owens slammed her, "Another day, another tragic reminder that Tamar Braxton only sees gay men as disposable scapegoats that she can use to justify why women like her can't find real love. How tragic. The irony is that her problem is right in the mirror looking back at her."
Another Twitter user wrote, "Tamar Braxton is the example of a 'fag hag' who benefits off of gay culture but secretly despises the community."
