Le Parisien has previously come out with a story that French actress Valentine Monnier was violently assaulted by the filmmaker at his chalet in Gstaad, Switzerland in 1975 when she was 18.

AceShowbiz - Roman Polanski is seeking legal action against the publication behind a new claim he raped an 18-year-old French actress in 1975.
Valentine Monnier has accused the filmmaker of an "extremely violent" assault at his chalet in Gstaad, Switzerland, going public with the story in a letter to La Parisien.
Polanski's lawyer, Herve Temime, insists his client "disputes in the strongest terms this rape accusation," revealing he and the director are "working on the legal action to bring against this publication."
Temime previously alerted magazine bosses to the fact Monnier's allegations came to light on the eve of the release of his client's new movie, "An Officer and a Spy".
Polanski remains in exile in Europe after admitting to having unlawful sex with a minor in 1977. He served 42 days in prison before fleeing the U.S. over concerns that a plea bargain with lawmakers would be scrapped.
American officials have been calling for the moviemaker's extradition for years, insisting he should be hauled back to California to face justice for his actions.
