When one is about to be the center of attention during an award show, it's only natural for them to try their best to look as great as possible. And that exactly what Victoria Beckham (Victoria Adams) was aiming for when attending the 2018 People's Choice Awards, where people learned the lengths she would go to make perfect hair happen.
The former Spice Girls member got an impromptu haircut in the backseat of a moving vehicle on her way to the annual event, and this was all because her hairstylist was running a little late. It was very fortunate that she got a really professional stylist to help her trim her hair in the car, because it was a very hard thing to do.
2. Hugh Laurie Dedicates a Trophy to Himself
One's success could not be achieved alone, as there must be several people who supported them along their journey. But Hugh Laurie begged to differ, hilariously believing that the success of his drama "House M.D." was due to him and himself alone. So when the drama won Favorite TV Drama at the 2010 People's Choice Awards, he gave all the credits to himself only.
He said during his acceptance speech, "I would like, on the behalf, to dedicate (this award) to me. Without me they are nothing. I am truly fantastic and an honor to work with him." Making it more hilarious was the fact that the actor even gave himself a pat in the back, as if he told himself that he had done a really great job bringing the drama to success all by himself.
3. Olivia Munn Pulls a Kanye West
Olivia Munn apparently was so inspired by Kanye West's infamous stunt at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards that she decided to try it out herself at the 2013 People's Choice Awards. Presenting Favorite Country Artist Award to Taylor Swift, the actress didn't let the blonde beauty hold onto her trophy very long as she was quick to snatch it away again.
It was all in the fun, obviously, and Taylor knew that as well because her reaction after that was priceless. "This always happens," said the "Delicate" singer, looking a little bewildered. In response, Olivia said, "And it will always happen, Taylor. This is your lot in life."
4. Ellen DeGeneres Breaks a Record
Breaking a record is surely something that many celebrities want to achieve during their career, especially when it comes to awards. Ellen DeGeneres did just that when she brought home three trophies at the 2017 People's Choice Awards, becoming the most decorated celebrity in the history of the annual event with a total of 20 trophies.
It was surely an emotional moment for the comedienne, as she said in her acceptance speech, "This is amazing. Seventeen, I get it. Eighteen, sure. Nineteen, I can see that. But 20 is outrageous. This is really something that means more to me … because it comes from the people. … I say thank you, people, and the only thing that would make me happier is if it was voted on by animals."
5. Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev Won On-Screen Chemistry After Splitting in Real Life
One of the risks of dating your co-star is breaking up when you're still in the middle of the production of your show. That's exactly what happened to Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev. It's something that couldn't be helped for sure, and both of them had already gotten past it. However, things took to an awkward turn when they won Favorite On-Screen Couple at the 2014 PCAs for their characters on "The Vampire Diaries".
As if that moment wasn't awkward enough, Ian and Nina joked about their off-screen romance during their acceptance speech. "Then we broke up in real life," she said, before Ian responded, "And yet our characters are still dating on the show." Even though Nina said she was relieved things didn't turn awkward for them on the set, she then let out a nervous laugh. "Well, it's a good thing we have chemistry!" Nina later added as Ian gave her a peck on the cheek.

Celebrities usually gave shout-outs to those who support them throughout their journey whenever they win an award, but that is not the case for Nicki Minaj. Making the most of her time at the podium when she brought home two awards at the 2018 PCAs, the Young Money femcee shot her shot at Michael B. Jordan and even thanked Kim Kardashian's curvy figure.
"Shout-out to Michael B. Jordan, because he's gonna be taking it off for me tonight," she said with a wink, clearly feeling playful that night. Later on, she dedicated her Album of the Year honor to Kim's posterior as saying, "I wanna dedicate this award to Kim Kardashian's a** in that dress." Making this more funny was the fact that Jimmy Fallon could be seen smiling awkwardly behind Nicki.
7. Vin Diesel's Tear-Jerking Tribute to Paul Walker
Those who tuned in the 2016 People's Choice Awards had a hard time stopping themselves from crying due to Vin Diesel. The actor, who attended the event to accept Favorite Movie and Favorite Action Movie for "Furious 7", got so emotional during his acceptance speech as he paid tribute to his late co-star Paul Walker, who was killed in a car crash when the movie was in the midst of production.
As if that was not heartbreaking enough, Diesel even sang the movie's soundtrack, "See You Again", to the late actor. "I thank you so much. The only thing I can say now is, 'It's been a long day without you my friend. And I'll tell you all about it when I see you again," he sang. Cue the tissue, please!
8. Chris Evans Escorts Betty White to the Stage
Talk about being a real gentleman. Making people convinced he suited his Captain America role to a tee, Chris Evans stole the show at the 2015 People's Choice Awards when he handsomely offered his elbow to Betty White, who won Favorite TV Icon Award, escorting her onto the stage at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.
His gentleman act successfully melted many people's hearts, with one even exclaiming, "CRYING BECAUSE HE IS CAPTAIN AMERICA." Another said, "Remember when Betty White won the People's Choice award, and our hearts melted as Chris Evans offered her his arm so she could climb the steps safely? That's how you treat a 90+ yr old woman." Betty herself couldn't help but gush over the actor, "I hate to admit it but whenever I'm that near men, sparks always fly."
