The rapper attended The New York Times' DealBook Conference in support of wife Kim and mother-in-law Kris Jenner on Wednesday, November 6, where he shared a few thoughts on the reality TV stars' empire with the crowd.
Explaining how their work ethic in business helped him push boundaries when it came to his own career, Kanye joked: "I think if my family didn't work so hard and they weren't so omnipresent, maybe I would just rest on my laurels of just being the greatest artist in human existence."
The Yeezy mogul is currently riding high atop the Billboard 200 album chart with his gospel offering "Jesus Is King", marking his ninth consecutive record to reach the peak.
The "born-again Christian" has also been touring North America with his spiritual weekly gospel gatherings, dubbed Sunday Service.
Meanwhile, the mother of his four kids' career is going from strength to strength, as she helms her KKW Beauty and KKW Fragrance empires, along with her recent Skims shapewear line.
Adding to her impressive resume, the star is also training to be a lawyer, and looking to sit the state bar exam in California in 2024.
The couple wed in 2014.
