On course to be another monster hit for Disney, the 'Frozen' sequel is further predicted to collect $125 million in its opening weekend in the United States alone.

AceShowbiz - "Frozen II" is on course to be another monster hit for Disney after breaking presale records for animated movies.

Officials at Fandango and Atom Tickets have announced that the first day presales for the sequel have rocketed past all other animated films, including "Toy Story 4", with experts predicting a $125 million (£97 million) opening weekend in America alone later this month (November 2019).

"Film fans can't wait to hear the instantly memorable 'Frozen II' songs and enjoy the surprising new adventures of Anna, Elsa and Olaf," Fandango managing editor Erik Davis tells Deadline. "It's a Thanksgiving season tradition to gather at the multiplex for a Disney film, and based on the sensational ticket sales for Frozen II on Fandango, it's clear that families and friends are making their holiday moviegoing plans now."
