AceShowbiz - Fatherhood has inspired country star Kane Brown to dedicate a new tune to his baby girl, just days after her arrival.
The singer and his wife Katelyn welcomed Kingsley Rose Brown on Tuesday, October 29, and it appears the new dad was so overwhelmed with emotion, he headed straight into the studio to pour his heart out in a song.
The result is "For My Daughter", on which Kane promises to be by Kingsley's side throughout the highs and the lows, having missed out on that experience during his own childhood as his father was jailed when the musician was a young boy.
On the track, he sings, "I grew up without a dad, so I'm gonna be the best one I can be/They say dads are supposed to shape you/In a way, I guess mine did/I knew what I wouldn't do if I ever had a kid".
Kane shared the new release with fans on Friday, hours after gushing about fatherhood on Twitter.
"My love for this little baby girl though y'all (sic)," he wrote. "I told her every night before bed while she was in mama's belly, 'Hi baby King, it's your daddy, I love you.' Every time she cries, I can actually grab her now and say that, and she immediately stops crying! Already a daddy's girl!".
Kane and Katelyn wed last year (18).
