The comedian and the 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' star have been beefing since May 2016 after the former slammed the reality TV star for her upcoming comedy show at the time.

AceShowbiz - Comedian Luenell revisited her drama with NeNe Leakes during her appearance on "The Tammi Mac Late Show". In the October 31 episode, Luenell explained to the audience why she came so hard to "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" star when she decided to do a stand-up comedy.

"This whole s**t got blown out of proportion," Luenell responded after host Tammi Mac brought NeNe's name into the discussion. "First of all, I would like to sit and explain to NeNe what my thought pattern was and where I was coming from when I made the statement about how dare her come into a comedy club."

Comparing NeNe's situation to Wendy Williams', Luenell continued saying, "When Wendy tried to do comedy, she hired a professional, me, and she did it in a theater. Wendy has a built-in audience, she don't need to be in The Improv… she can do wherever she wants to. So she respected the art form and she did it the right way."

However, it wasn't the case for NeNe, according to her. "How you gon' come in this comedy club, when there are comics who sacrificed their lives to be in here, and you just prance in?" Luenell shaded the Bravo personality. "Like when she did the Broadway show in New York they didn’t say nothing as theater people, but I'm sure they weren't excited about a reality star standing on the same [boat] that they sacrificed their life to be on."

NeNe and Luenell have been beefing since May 2016. The latter slammed the reality TV star for her upcoming comedy show at the time, writing, "Now y'all take this Any way you want to Bur [sic], I have dedicated 26 years of HARD WORK 2 b able to call myself a Comic. It is a very elite club that I am Extremely proud 2 belong to. ... So I just find it Ironic that these days, it seems like any Reality Show celebrity or celebrity of Any type who wants to pop up and call themselves a Comic CAN….but a Comic can't just pop up and as easily get a Show!"

"Anybody can just walk into our profession, grab $$$ and when they get Tired…..they just stop and go back to the comfort of television. If I sound salty, it's because i Am! I am not afraid 2 speak MY truth but believe me, I am Not alone n my thoughts," she added.

Responding to the shade, NeNe wrote back, "I NEVER said I was a comedian so be clear about that! I find it ironic that you took the time to comment on the moves I amke but u had no problem helping Wendy Williams and u had no problem coming on my show filming with Claudia Jordan. ... If you stop being salty and get out your feelings, you might can start opening up for me.....call me, I got a job for you."
