The 'Grace and Frankie' actress has been taken into police custody yet again, this time around along with fellow actresses Catherine Keener and Rosanna Arquette in her weekly protest.

AceShowbiz - Actress and activist Jane Fonda has been arrested for the fourth time in four weeks as she continues her fight against climate change.

The "Barbarella" star was taken into custody at the Hart Senate office building in Washington, D.C. on Friday, November 1, alongside fellow actresses Catherine Keener and Rosanna Arquette, after marching in her weekly environmental demonstration, titled Fire Drill Fridays.

Fonda had previously staged her protests outside the U.S. Capitol building, but this time she led the group of activists indoors, where she held an impromptu press conference.

The demonstrators then turned the event into a sit-in, forming a circle on the atrium floor as they chanted calls for action, before authorities moved in to make arrests.

Prior to the police intervention, Fonda had told reporters she would likely be spending the night behind bars if she was booked again, as she had already been slapped with a civil disobedience charge following last week's bust, for which she is due in court on November 27.

Her two earlier arrests for participating in an illegal environmental demonstration had simply resulted in fines.

Fonda is expected to continue with her environmental action protests until mid-January 2020, when she will have to return to work on the Los Angeles set of "Grace and Frankie".

Her TV co-star, Sam Waterston, had previously been arrested alongside Fonda on October 18, while Ted Danson joined her in handcuffs on October 25.
