During an appearance on 'Live with Kelly and Ryan', the 'Crazy Rich Asians' actor opens up about how his wife, Liv Lo, captured his attention when they first met at a restaurant in Singapore.

AceShowbiz - Henry Golding really likes a woman who takes charge - he liked the last one so much he married her.
The "Crazy Rich Asians" star was celebrating New Year's Eve, 2010 at a restaurant in Singapore and made a big impression on a woman, Liv Lo, who was also there partying.
"It was one of those old-fashioned stories," Henry tells "Live with Kelly and Ryan", "Not all this swiping (on social media sites)... I saw her from afar and she was, like, this wild cat."
"I was kind of just getting over my hangover from the day previous and I was, like, 'I have no time nor energy to spend on getting to know this girl,' but halfway through the night, I think I'm popping off to the... loo (bathroom) and she just steps in my way and says, 'Why haven't you said hello to me yet? I'm leaving tomorrow and you're never going to see me again. What are you going to do about it?'."
Henry took Liv for brunch the next day, only to discover a large obstacle to their potential romance.
"She lived in Tokyo, I lived in Singapore, so we did long distance (relationship)," he adds.
But what really sealed the deal was Liv's confident pursuit of her man.
"I just love it when, like, a woman just punches you in the face," he laughs. "Absolutely. It's hot when a girl just takes you pretty much by the collar."
The couple married on August 20, 2016 in Henry's native Malaysia.
