Representatives at the L.A. County District Attorney's Office have rejected the case filed by an unidentified male massage therapist, claiming that it will be impossible to prove his claims.

AceShowbiz - Los Angeles authorities have declined to pursue sexual assault charges against Kevin Spacey following the death of his alleged victim.

The disgraced "The Usual Suspects" star found himself under criminal investigation last year (18) after an unidentified male massage therapist filed suit, accusing him of misconduct during an incident at a private residence in Malibu, California in 2016.

He alleged the actor tried to kiss him and forced him to grab his genitals during the massage session - claims Spacey denied.

A police investigation was launched, but the John Doe recently passed away, before any charges could be filed.

As a result, representatives at the L.A. County District Attorney's Office have rejected the case, because it will be impossible to prove his claims without the key witness, reports TMZ.

The alleged victim is said to have died of natural causes.

His civil suit against Spacey currently remains active and may continue if estate officials decide to keep up the legal fight.

The news emerges three months after sexual misconduct charges against the actor were dropped by a Massachusetts prosecutor after his accuser declined to testify at a pre-trial hearing.

However, Spacey's legal woes are far from over - he still faces six allegations of sexual assault in the U.K., relating to alleged incidents between 1996 and 2013.
