AceShowbiz - Congratulations are in order for Nicki Minaj and her fiance Kenneth Petty! The Young Money femcee took to her Instagram account on Monday, October 21 to announce that the couple had officially tied the knot less than a year after they started dating.

Nicki opted to keep her announcement as simple as possible, posting on the photo-sharing site a video of matching "Mr. and Mrs." mugs and black-and-white baseball caps that had "Bride" and "Groom" written across the front. In the caption of the post, she simply left several emojis to express her happiness over their new status.

Many of her friends and followers have since left congratulatory messages in the comment section of the post. Christina Aguilera wrote, "Congrats queen!" while Winnie Harlow commented, "So happy for you Mrs. Bride you deserve all the happiness in the world." Meanwhile, "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" star Akbar V said, "So u done went an got married. Yasss," before adding in another comment, "I need a invite to the wedding."

Other stars who congratulated the couple on their marriage included La La Anthony and Evelyn Lozada.

Following their nuptials, Nicki and Kenneth are planning to hold a second and bigger wedding where they invite friends and family to celebrate with them. Saying that she had already hired "dope designer" for her gown, the "Anaconda" hitmaker noted, "It's so strange cause I didn't expect myself to be one of those people who didn't care about the hoopla, but I really don't. ...I just kind of feel like it doesn't mean as much as it used to mean because the other part, the real part, I have it now and I'm happy."

Nicki went Instagram with Kenneth in late last year. Despite criticism surrounding their relationship due to the latter's criminal past, the two keep going strong and even got engaged just months after going public with their romance.
