AceShowbiz - Gucci Mane is never one to shy away from addressing the drama surrounding himself. The rapper recently had a sit-down interview with Charlamagne Tha God in which he talked about the claims that he was banned from "The Breakfast Club" over his comments about co-host Angela Yee as well as his feud with DJ Envy.
In a clip titled "Growth with Gucci: A Conversation with Gucci Mane and Charlamagne Tha God", Guwop said of Angela, "It came from that punk a** b***h." The beef between Angela and the rapper started after he claimed in a 2016 episode on the radio show that Yee wanted a sexual relationship with him though Yee denied.
Back to the recent interview with Charlamagne, who was also among the hosts on "Breakfast Club", Gucci went on slamming DJ Envy who joined Yee in a reprised segment of Club Court to talk about the rumors. "And DJ Envy -- he's a p***y, too. Envy's p***y, man," he blasted Envy.
"The day he did the people's court thing -- he was there. Him and the girl or whatever," Gucci added. "So he ain't have the nuts to come after he did that. I was going to confront him too. I was going to say, 'Hey man, you got something to say to me?' I just wanted to see what he was going to say."
Explaining that he would confront Envy, Gucci added, "I'ma confront him about what he and Angela did, and if he come at me wrong, I'ma slap the s**t out of him … It ain't gonna be his first time getting slapped."
Following the diss, Envy took to his Instagram account to respond to the "Wake Up in the Sky" spitter. "@laflare1017 was never banned from the @breakfastclubam When asked, 'Would I do an interview without Yee...' My reply was, 'I will not do anything unless you clear it with my co-worker.. We call that riding for your team where I'm from!!!' And he's upset because my coworker defended herself...," so he wrote on the photo-sharing platform.
"Never in a million years will I tell my co-hosts what to say or what not to say.. We share that platform.. When Gucci did that post about Yee, she defended herself on the Breakfast Club and he's mad because 'I let her do it'.... I Have never ran from a Conversation in my life...," he went on saying.
It was rumored that Gucci and Envy started beefing after the latter brought up Gucci's 2013 tweets. In the old tweets, he claimed to have had sex with a number of women in the music industry.
