AceShowbiz - Bruce Springsteen stunned fans at two screenings of his new movie "Western Stars" on Saturday, October 19, at a cinema in his native Freehold, New Jersey.

The rocker and director Thom Zimny made unannounced appearances at the AMC Freehold 14 theatre.

"We knew we weren't going to tour, so I tried to figure out a way to get the music to you," Springsteen told the fans as he introduced the screenings.

Springsteen shot much of the film, soundtracked by his new album "Western Stars", in his barn.
