AceShowbiz - Liam Payne is so in demand he goes weeks without seeing his son.
The former One Direction star has just announced he will be releasing his debut solo album in December - and that means a very busy end to the year.
The singer loves his fans and likes to stay on top of his career, but that means weeks away from home, and his son Bear.
"It is difficult being on the road, going out and promo-ing," the 26-year-old told "The One Show" on Friday. "It has been hard to get home and see him".
"Loads of random things happen with kids all the time. Like, if he's not very well, sometimes you miss dates and things. Then a couple of weeks go by, and I haven't seen him in ages".
"It hurts, it's horrible".
Liam is currently planning a tour, but he's trying to work around the schedules of his son and Bear's mum, Cheryl Cole.
