The beloved TV star, who was well known as Walter Findlay on the 'All in the Family' spin-off, had appeared in such movies as 'The Jerk', 'Me, Myself and I', 'Analyze This' and 'The Holiday'.

The actor made his mark as Walter Findlay on Norman Lear's "All in the Family" spin-off "Maude", alongside Bea Arthur.

The sitcom ran from 1972 to 1978.

Macy also appeared in cult 1979 comedy movie "The Jerk" and the films "My Favorite Year", "Me, Myself and I", "Analyze This", and "The Holiday", among others.

As well as Maude, Macy's TV credits included roles on "Law & Order, "St. Elsewhere", "Chicago Hope", "The Facts of Life", and "Seinfeld".
