The 31-year-old 'I'm All About You' singer fails to hold back his tears while talking about his family tragedies in a clip from a new episode of WE tv's 'Marriage Boot Camp: Family Edition'.

AceShowbiz - Aaron Carter is going through a lot. The 31-year-old singer has opened up about his family tragedies in a clip from the new season of WE tv's "Marriage Boot Camp: Family Edition" in which he appears with his mother Jane Elizabeth Carter.

Among the things that Aaron talks about are the deaths of his sister Leslie Carter and his father Robert Gene Carter. "I felt like I'd been responsible for the death of my sister, for the death of my dad, for my family falling apart," Aaron says to the counselors while failing to hold back his tears.

After listening to Aaron's confession, Jane responds, "I think that's one of the things that hurts Aaron the most, he just was so busy with his own life that he wasn't there, and I think he wanted to be there for them. In his heart he feels like he could've done something more."

His sister Leslie died in 2012 from an overdose of prescription drugs. Meanwhile, the star's dad passed away at 65 from an apparent heart attack in 2017.

Later in the preview, Jane is seen accepting a Parenting 101 book from the counselors. She admits that she "obviously" never read before, adding, "I did the best I could do. I'm devastated."

Aaron has been in a tumultous relationship with his family especially his twin sister, Angel, and older brother Nick Carter. Nick even took out restraining orders against him, accusing Aaron of planning to harm his then-pregnant wife Lauren and their unborn child. Meanwhile, Aaron said that Nick has been bullying him his entire life. He also accused Leslie of sexually abusing him when he was little.

"It runs in the family. I never wanted to tell anyone this. But I have too [sic]…," Aaron said on Twitter. "My sister Leslie suffered from bipolar and took lithium to treat it. She never liked the way it made her feel and when she was off of it she did things that she never meant to do I truly believe that. I was 10 years old…."

He went on saying, "My sister raped me from the age of 10 to 13 years old when she wasn't on her medications and I was absused [sic] not only sexually by her but by my first two back up dancers when I was 8 years old. And my brother absused [sic] me my whole life."
