It's been reported that the girlfriend of Carl Crawford is suing the lingerie football athlete for defamation and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

AceShowbiz - Evelyn Lozada and Ogom "OG" Chijindu's beef has apparently escalated to a legal battle. It's been reported that the girlfriend of Carl Crawford is suing her "Basketball Wives" co-star for defamation and intentional infliction of emotional distress after the latter accused Evelyn of racism in one of her Twitter posts.

For those who don't keep up with the ladies' feud, it all started after Evelyn used a picture of a monkey when she called out OG on Instagram. The lingerie football athlete took notice of the post and was quick to hit back, saying, "Wow so now black women are monkeys. Everyone boycott this trash box you are disgusting."

She added in caps, "AND THERE iT iS... SHOW YOUR TRUE COLORS YOU RACiST BiGOT.. YOU CALLED CECE 'LiNG LiNG' JACKiE A 'COCKCROACH' & NOW ME A 'MONKEY.' MAY GOD TAKE CARE OF YOU WELL WELL... EVELYN LOZADA..."

In court documents obtained by The Blast, Evelyn claimed that OG's words directly affected her career and she "sustained serious financial harm through loss of income as well as serious and permanent injuries."

She also defended herself against the accusation, stressing that she's of Hispanic descent and her two children "are African and Hispanic descent." Moreover, the star claimed that she's the chairperson of a foundation that raises money for abused women and had raised money for the Sauti Yeti Center of African Woman. "These are actions of a person that is not racist," Evelyn claimed.

OG has yet to respond to the lawsuit.

Prior to this, Evelyn considered getting a restraining order against OG after the latter had a meltdown during the taping of "Basketball Wives" reunion special allegedly due to her not being seated on the main stage. After the taping, OG went off on Evelyn on social media, sharing angry messages that detailed violence. This apparently made Evelyn concerned about OG's "mental state" and her team advised her to get a restraining order for better protection.
