The TV favourite, who also appeared in the movies "Wayne's World 2", "Indecent Proposal", and "Jackass 3D", passed away on Sunday, October 6 in Beverly Hills.

Dubbed the King of Confetti, Rip was a variety show hit on "The Ed Sullivan Show" and "The Merv Griffin Show", among others in the 1960s.

He also hosted "The $1.98 Beauty Show".

Known for his flamboyant style and appearance, he also acted on TV series like "The Brady Bunch Variety Hour" and "Santa Barbara", while his voice featured on shows like "The Addams Family", "The Jetsons", "Garfield and Friends" and "Scooby-Doo".
