During an Instagram Live session, the 'Bodak Yellow' rapper says she's considering to name her sophomore album after the golfer because she's inspired by his win at the 2019 Masters.

AceShowbiz - Cardi B has shared updates on her upcoming album, though it might not be something that everyone will like. During an Instagram Live session, the female emcee revealed that she's considering to name her upcoming sophomore album after Tiger Woods because she had been inspired by the professional golfer this year.

She said during the session, "Everything I'm working on right now is straight to my album. And I think I'm going to name my album 'Tiger Woods'," before revealing the reason why she chose to name her project after Tiger. "Because, remember when everybody was talking s**t on Tiger Woods, like, 'Oh blah blah blah blah this, blah blah that.' And then he f***ing came and won that green jacket? That's what I'm going to name my album."

Cardi was referring to Tiger's win at the 2019 Masters. At the time, many people were impressed by his win since prior to the competition, the 43-year-old athlete was undergoing multiple back surgeries, not to mention his well-documented issues in personal life. People didn't expect him to win the green jacket, but he did in the end.

Even though Cardi naming her album "Tiger Woods" is not set in stone just yet, it has already gotten many people talking. A lot of them weren't down with the idea and started accusing her of disrespecting Tiger should she really go with the plan. "What a joke? Her name should never be mentioned along side Tiger, much less anything to do with golf," one dissatisfied person wrote. "DO NOT disrespect #Tigerwoods by naming your next trash album after him," another told the "Bodak Yellow" rapper.

"Don't ever even think that this girl will be anywhere close to Tiger. Disrespectful," someone else said, with one other adding, "This just in: Tiger Woods is legally changing his name to avoid being associated with Cardi B's s***ty music."

The release date of Cardi's sophomore album has yet to be revealed, though she previously confirmed that the album would hit the stores this year.
