The 30-year-old 'Praise the Lord' rapper shares in a new interview with British Vogue that he thinks men should be able to engage in nail art 'without feeling feminine.'

AceShowbiz - A$AP Rocky has been into nail art lately and he doesn't thing it's something he should be ashamed of. The "Praise the Lord" rapper recently defended his love of getting manicure, which raised many people's eyebrows, during an interview with British Vogue.
The 30-year-old hip-hop star shared that he thought men should be able to engage in nail art "without feeling feminine." The rapper, who was also modeling in campaigns for Prada as well as Calvin Klein, continued saying he met a woman who drew Prada on his nails when he was shooting his Prada collaboration.
"She did my nails for the photos," A$AP said. In the interview, he also alluded that he only wanted what he wanted to do without thinking too much of what other people would think. "I do what the f**k I want. It's just like hey, you know? There are no boundaries," he said.
When asked if he thought that masculinity was diminished by focusing on beauty, the spitter said it wasn't like that for him. The "Testing" star, who was released from Sweden prison last month after being involved in a street brawl in the country, said he "could have been a gangster," but he wasn't. Instead, A$AP claimed to be "a pretty boy instead."
A$AP might be proud of his nail art, but some people didn't seem to think so. "No real man would wear nail art. Your nails cannot look like mines unless your my girlfriend. Nice try tho," one fan wrote in the comment of one of his Instagram post in which he showed off his nail. Someone else simply said, "Gay a** asap rocky."
In another photo, A$AP showed off his nail art while sporting pearl rings, prompting one user to comment, "Painted finger nails and pearls lol."
Elsewhere in the interview, Flacko talked about AWGE's synergy and the collective's decision to open up shop in the famed U.K. department store rather than his hometown of NYC. "It's like the 'Praise the Lord' [featuring Skepta] video," he explained. "Taking London and America and displaying how they’re two parallel universes. New York is a derivative of London [...] And I think, even now, the similarities in culture, music, attitude, style, are still the same. Most people in New York, where I'm from, they either don't have much knowledge of London or they love it. They see similarities and I wanted to display that."
