AceShowbiz - This is what you called a bless in disguise. After announcing her divorce from husband Marc Daly, Kenya Moore is reportedly given her career a boost as Bravo promotes her to be a full-time Housewife on "The Real Housewives of Atlanta".
"Kenya will be holding a peach when the season starts," a show insider revealed to Radar Online ahead of the reality show's season 12 premiere. "She is going to be a full-time housewife again."
"So much of filming so far has been about Kenya and the baby and Marc, so she's earned her way back," the source added. However, the boost didn't mean Kenya would be getting a higher salary. "Kenya is still only getting $500,000 for the season," continued the informant.
In related news, it was said that the other "RHOA" cast members didn't see Kenya's divorce coming. A source told theJasmineBRAND that her co-stars were blindsided with her decision to end her marriage to Marc. "They were literally together the night before they filmed and everything seemed fine," shares the source.
However, production is allegedly happy to hear that they were divorcing. According to sources, they were "relieved" that they didn't have to deal with Marc any longer. It was said that he was "difficult to work with" and had lots of restrictions concerning his participation on the show.
Previous report suggested that viewers of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" would get to see a huge fight between the former couple in upcoming new season of the Bravo series as Kenya allegedly "aggressively confronted Marc at an event he was hosting, and Bravo was filming."
A source detailed that it happened during the charity event for Black Man Lab at the Wimbish House that was filmed for "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" on September 17.
As for the reason why Kenya was mad at her husband, the insider claimed that it was because "Marc told Eva's [Marcille] husband that he is tired of Kenya's s**t." The source continued, "He called her an attention w***e," adding that "Marc just doesn't want to be on TV. It is plain and simple."
