AceShowbiz - Angela Bassett has received some love and hates following her appearance at the 71st Primetime Emmy Awards. The "American Horror Story: Coven" star, who came with her husband Courtney B. Vance to the Sunday, September 22 event, was stunning in a red jumper, but some people got distracted by her face.

The 61-year-old star, who always looks ageless, is accused of "over-botoxing" her face as some social media users blasted her for her unnatural-looking face. "She needs to stop," one Twitter user implored the Academy Award and Emmy Award-nominated actress.

Another wrote a comment that read, "That s**t ages people so bad. I don't know why people are trying to hold onto youth. She's not holding onto you... j/s." A third user blasted Angela for using too much Botox, "She takes snatched to a whole new level."

"She looks like she wants to cry and laugh at the same time. Her facial muscles are crying out for help," someone else pointed out the "Avengers: Endgame" star's weird expression.

The Queen Ramonda in "Black Panther", however, also received praises from her fans following her appearance at the prize-giving event. "Ok, and I really want to know where the amazing #AngelaBassett has hidden the fountain of drop dead amazing. I want some of that! Wow. She never ages,wonderful actress, and just looked incredible," one raved Angela's youthful appearance.

"Angela Bassett is a vampire . You can't tell me other wise . Idc idc," one jokingly wrote about the actress. Another declared her admiration at Angela as writing, "When I'm in my 60s, I want to be just like Angela Bassett."

Angela has previously admitted that she's got cosmetic procedures to keep her looking youthful. "Botox is no surprise! I'm a big supporter of being natural, but I've done it twice. Just a little bit, not too much-I still need to express myself," she told NewBeauty about her anti-aging regimen earlier this year.
