AceShowbiz - Normani Kordei's prayers have been answered thanks to a gushing tweet about her performance at Rihanna's Savage X Fenty fashion show from the Umbrella superstar herself.
The former Fifth Harmony singer hit the stage at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York for the Fashion Week launch of Rihanna's latest lingerie designs on September 10 and received rave reviews for her high-energy performance when the footage of the concert-styled event aired on Amazon Prime last week (ends September 20).
Even Rihanna was impressed and she took to Twitter on Sunday, September 22 to heap praise on the star.
"NORMANNIIIIII you bad BIH!!!! Ugh why can't I be you?! thank you sooo much sis! KILLED IT!!!" she wrote, prompting Normani to respond: "this is actually my prayer every night!!! lol (laugh out loud) I literally just told (lawyer) Ed Shapiro 'I wanna be Rih when I grow up' love you trillions queen. thank you for allowing me to be a part of history #SAVAGEXFENTYSHOW."
Normani wasn't the only one who received rave reviews from Rihanna - she also tweeted thanks to Big Sean, Fat Joe, DJ Khaled, and Migos, who also performed at the fashion show.
The R&B superstar and fashion and beauty mogul called Big Sean "one of the most underrated performers of our time", and confessed she's a big fan of rap trio Migos, tweeting: "Like my whole ghetto life was made right here bruh."
She also singled out actress and transgender icon Laverne Cox, who joined the models at the event.
"LAVEEERRRRNNNEEEE!!! I rewound this part 100000000 times! This woman is SMOOTH," she wrote.
