Montia Sabbag claims the comedian, who is currently recovering after a car accident, 'conspired' with his friend Jonathan 'JT' Jackson to record their sexual encounter without her consent in 2017.

AceShowbiz - Kevin Hart is slapped with a $60 million lawsuit over a 2017 sex tape, while he's still struggling to walk again following a terrible car accident. Model Montia Sabbag claims she was secretly recorded having consensual intercourse with the comedian in a Las Vegas hotel room.
The 38-page complaint states that the 40-year-old actor "conspired" with his friend Jonathan "JT" Jackson "to intentionally record Ms. Sabbag naked and engaged in private sexual relations with Hart in a private bedroom at the Cosmopolitan without her knowledge or consent for the purpose of obtaining tremendous financial benefit for himself."
Montia argues Kevin was motivated by the "additional publicity and media attention" that the video garnered, especially with a then-upcoming comedy tour, and his desire to "increase his overall pop culture status." She claims that the sex tape, which was eventually published online in September 2017, "has caused and continues to cause Ms. Sabbag great emotional distress and embarrassment."
In 2018, JT was charged with attempted extortion and extortion by threatening letter. He was accused of trying to get money out of Kevin to keep the tape under wraps. When Kevin refused to pay, JT allegedly tried to sell the tape to various celebrity news websites. JT has denied the extortion attempt and plead not guilty to the charges. The case is still ongoing.
As noted by TMZ, Montia said when the story first broke that Kevin, like her, was a victim and she was not going to sue him. In a press conference, the 28-year-old model, who was represented by attorney Lisa Bloom at the time, said Kevin had no idea of their intimate encounter being secretly filmed by his friend. However, her third lawyer reportedly recently made a secret financial demand to Kevin, asking for "low six figures," which Kevin's lawyer denied, before suing him for $60 million.
Kevin has repeatedly denied having knowledge of the recording. The "Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle" star addressed the sex tape in an Instagram video back then to apologize to his wife Eniko Parrish and his kids. "I'm at a place in my life where I feel like I have a target on my back and because of that, I should make smart decisions. And recently, I didn't," he said. "You know, I'm not perfect. I'm not going to sit up here and say that I am or claim to be in any way shape or form."
The funnyman continued, "I made a bad error in judgment and I put myself in a bad environment where only bad things can happen and they did. And in doing that, I know that I'm going to hurt the people closest to me, who've I talked to and apologized to, that would be my wife and my kids."
