Pushing back the opening of her 'Madame X Tour' from mid-September to mid-October, the 'Material Girl' hitmaker vows to give fans 'the most unique, magical, and musical experience.'

AceShowbiz - Madonna has pushed back the start of her "Madame X Tour" to perfect a few "highly specialized production elements".

The pop superstar's dates at the BAM Howard Gilman Opera House in Brooklyn, New York, which were set for 12 and 14 September, will now take place in mid-October, while a third show there on 15 September has been cancelled.

The "Material Girl" singer will now kick off the tour at the venue on 17 September.

Explaining the date changes in a statement, Madonna writes: "Madame X is a perfectionist and wants to give you the most unique, magical, and musical experience. She underestimated the amount of time it would take to bring this kind of intimate theatrical experience to you and wants it to be perfect!!! Thank you so much for your understanding."

The tour will support Madonna's "Madame X" album, which was released in June.
