AceShowbiz - While many have heaped praise on 50 Cent's new girlfriend Jamira Haines, at least someone is not happy with the couple's romance. Jamira's former boyfriend Omelly, who is also Meek Mill's cousin, appears to have dissed the actor/rapper for dating his ex-bae.
After reports emerged about the couple's red carpet debut at "Power" season 6 premiere, Omelly posted a cryptic message on Instagram Stories on Wednesday, August 21. "Mmmm mmmmm mmmmm boy you lame," he wrote with laughing crying emojis.
In a now-deleted post, he also asked people not to "compare him" with someone else.
While he didn't mention any name, many people were convinced that Omelly was talking about 50 Cent in his cryptic posts. One poked fun at the hip-hop artist, "Boy bye u jus mad cause she leveled up on ya."
Another reacted, "He HURT." Someone else accused Omelly of trying to get attention after his ex got a lot of love from Internet users. "His ex got clout now he wanna post," the third user wrote.
It's not clear when 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis James Jackson III, started dating Jamira, but they made their red carpet debut as a couple on Tuesday, August 20 at the new season premiere party for his Starz series. The fitness model, who goes by Cuban Link on Twitter and Instagram, looked gorgeous in a metallic purple mini dress with a very plunging neckline at the event.
Following their public appearance, "50s girlfriend" reportedly became one of Google's top performing search terms on Tuesday night. She allegedly also got more than 100,000 new followers in the past day.
The model, who is working towards becoming a lawyer, has received a lot of congratulatory messages from friends and fans on her new relationship with 50 Cent. Someone wrote to her, "@50cent is a lucky man .....NOT @_cuban_link is a lucky woman lol come correct. y'all cute boo."
Responding to the supportive messages, she posted, "I love how y'all are happy that I'm happy ... that's love !" She acknowledged that "some of it might be fake," but added, "it's the thought that count. I see y'all comments !! Can't get to all but ThankYou."
