It all starts after the 'Teen Mom 2' star posts on Instagram a picture of her 9-year-old daughter Aubree rocking a pair of large chunky silver hoops and light peach lipstick.

AceShowbiz - Chelsea Houska might be great at avoiding the drama between the "Teen Mom 2" cast, but she is apparently not so great at dodging mom-shamers. The reality TV star was recently criticized for allowing her daughter Aubree to wear hoop earrings and lipstick.

It all started after Chelsea shared on Instagram a photo of the 9-year-old girl posing for the camera before she headed to school. Aubree was seen grinning as she had on light peach lipstick and sported large chunky silver hoops. Her mature accessories aside, she still looked cute in a plaid short-sleeved dress and a floral backpack over her shoulder.

In the caption of the post, Chelsea expressed how sad she was to see her daughter "looking so grown up." The MTV personality added, "She was OBSESSED with these earrings and wanted to wear lipstick this morning. Where'd my baby go?!"

Mom-shamers quickly came to attack her after she made the post, with many reminding her that Aubree is still too young to wear any of those. "She still is your baby. You can say no to the lipstick and earrings. Why are parents afraid to be parents? Most parents want to be 'friends'!!! You're their parents first," one said. Someone else simply said, "Lipstick wow too young."

Fortunately for Chelsea, she didn't have to speak up and defended herself because her fans had already did it for her. One pointed out that earrings and lipstick "have nothing to do with how good of a parent you are. Chelsea says no to plenty of the things that matter." Others told the mom-shamers to "mind their own business," while an individual just couldn't stand the critics. "All these people making a fuss over some earrings. Like there aren't bigger problems in the world lol," the user said.

Another user echoed the sentiment, "Why are people mad over a pair of cute earrings? EARRINGS. Literally a piece of jewelry. I'm so confused." There were also some who told the mom-shamers to "scroll down and unfollow" if they didn't want to see this kind of content.
