AceShowbiz - Jason Momoa is reassuring fans he wasn't hurt by a bulldozer while protesting the construction of a giant telescope on one of Hawaii's most sacred sites.
The movie star has joined activists trying to stop the work on Mauna Kea, and he previously raised eyebrows by suggesting the movement may even stall his appearance in "Aquaman 2" because he had been injured at the site.
"Sorry Warner Bros we can't shoot Aquaman 2. Because Jason got run over by a bulldozer trying to stop the desecration of his native land," he wrote on Instagram earlier this month. "THIS IS NOT HAPPENING. WE ARE NOT LETTING YOU DO THIS ANYMORE. Enough is enough. Go somewhere else."
However, Jason now reveals he was just joking about the whole ordeal and the movie shoot is still on schedule.
"I was making a joke saying, you know, Jason got ran over by a bulldozer," he tells CNN. "I actually didn't get run over by a bulldozer, that's what's amazing about the whole thing. Aquaman doesn't start for a while, that's why I was saying it was a joke."
