AceShowbiz - Nothing can stop Miranda Lambert from living her best life, not even an online troll. The 35-year-old country songstress recently clapped back at someone who implied that she and husband Brendan McLoughlin would divorce sooner or later.
It all started when Miranda shared on Instagram a video of the NYPD officer cooking buttermilk fried chickens outdoor. "I'm sweet tea sippin' on the front porch sittin' while my hubby fries chicken and I'm pickin' these straaangs'," the "Mama's Broken Heart" singer captioned the video, quoting lyrics from her new single "Locomotive".
Many left positive comments underneath the post, expressing how grateful they are to see Miranda enjoying her life to the fullest ever since her marriage. However, one person decided to ruin it by suggesting that their marriage "won't last." Miranda, obviously, would not let the user get away just like that and hilariously hit back, "Sure won't! I'm gonna eat every piece of it! Can't waste chicken!"
Her followers were absolutely loving her reaction, with many dubbing it a "perfect response." Someone wrote, "I just about peed on myself laughing. Be happy." Another said, "2019 best reply goes to you girl?"
Miranda and Brendan wed in a secret ceremony before announcing the news on Valentine's Day. "In honor of Valentine's Day I wanted to share some news. I met the love of my life. And we got hitched! My heart is full. Thank you Brendan Mcloughlin for loving me for... Me," she said at the time. The two made their red carpet debut as a couple at the 2019 ACM Awards in April.
Brendan is currently on a leave of absence from his job as a NYPD officer. While it's unclear why he is on a leave, it's been speculated that he might be gearing up to join Miranda on her "Roadside Bars & Pink Guitars Tour" that will kick off in September.
