AceShowbiz - The upcoming August 14 episode of "Basketball Wives" reportedly will be the last episode featuring Tami Roman. The model/actress has taken to her Instagram account to post a good bye message for her fans as she had decided to quit the VH1 reality TV show.
"That's a wrap. last one #BitterSweet so appreciative & thankful for the last 9 yrs!" she wrote on the photo-sharing site alongside a picture of herself looking gorgeous during what seems like a filming. "Dear God, it's me, Tami again... what you got for me?"
Fans were definitely devastated over the news. "It's a wrap for me too sis. Won’t be watching after you are gone. Majority of the cast just too fake for me," one avid fan wrote in the comment section. However, some others were supportive of her decision as one comment read, "So happy for you Tami and you definitely made the right decision to leave that tacky show."
"I've watched you for seasons and I've seen your growth and it's best that you do leave the franchise God has so much in-store for you Miss Tami Roman your blessings are coming stay away from those toxic people you don't need that, too much fakery and I'm not even on the show," another fan added.
Some others praised Tami for her maturity in handling things. "Growth and maturity! No more drama! Thank you Jesus!!!! We are GROWN!!!" one user raved. "And that ladies and gentlemen is how you GROW through this things called life," one other commented, adding a #winner hashtag.
As if her exit is not heartbreaking enough, it seems like Tami won't appear in season 8 reunion. The reunion special is set to start filming in a few weeks, but Tami allegedly has told production that she's not interested in filming.
This arrives after Tami unfollowed former friend Shaunie O'Neal on Instagram as the ex-wife of Shaquille O'Neal was slammed for being "fake" friend to Tami. During current season 8, Shaunie has been laughing at jokes which are made at the expense of Tami. One of them is when Tami is feuding with Shaunie's other friend Evelyn Lozada. Shaunie previously shared that she gave up on trying to instigate drama between the two because the last time she tried, it didn't work.
"Basketball Wives" season 8 airs on Wednesdays at 8 P.M. on VH1.
