AceShowbiz - Barbra Streisand turned her New York City concert into an anti-Donald Trump rally on Saturday night (August 3), by poking fun at the U.S. leader during a performance of Stephen Sondheim's "Send In the Clowns".
The singer, a fervent Democrat, has been one of Trump's most outspoken critics, and during her show at Madison Square Garden she had a special moment set aside for him.
With altered lyrics referencing his tax returns and deal-making skills, she labelled him a "fraudulent twit" and stopped just short of singing "he's full of s**t."
"Some people say I talk too much about politics," she said. "Well, I'm a New Yorker and we have big mouths."
Babs also thanked her Republican fans for attending the concert, even though they don't share political beliefs, but joked "cover your ears for a couple minutes" as she went on the attack.
President Bill Clinton and his wife Hillary, who lost the presidential race to Trump in 2016, were in the audience. Streisand singles out the former Secretary of State, revealing, "Three years ago I was greatly hoping to sing at your inauguration."
Aside from the politics, Barbra wowed fans with a hits set during her first show at MSG in 13 years, thanking Billy Joel for taking a night off from his long-running residency and recalling working with Judy Garland.
