At the 2019 Summer Television Critics Association summer press tour, a CBS entertainment executive reveals that 'The Big Bang Theory' star brought them the 'incredible new project called Pretty.'

AceShowbiz - Kaley Cuoco is returning to the small screen as the producer of a new show about a wannabe Oprah Winfrey.

"The Big Bang Theory" star is developing a new CBS comedy about a woman who moves to Los Angeles from New Jersey to find love and follow in the footsteps of her idol.

Confirming her involvement in the upcoming comedy, a CBS entertainment executive says, "She has brought us an incredible new project called Pretty, which will star and be co-written by comedian Santina Muha."

The announcement was made at the 2019 Summer Television Critics Association summer press tour in Beverly Hills, California, on Thursday (August 01).

"It's a single camera comedy about a ballsy, passionate woman, who moves from Jersey to L.A. to pursue her dreams of love and her dream of becoming the next Oprah, but she also has to be caretaker to her wonderfully, comedically messed up family and friends...," the statement continued. "With Kaley's influence and her comedic instincts, it promises to make this show really special."

Pretty will also feature actress and writer Lindsey Kraft.

Cuoco spent 12 years as the star of CBS comedy "The Big Bang Theory", which wrapped its final season in May.
