AceShowbiz - Is Rihanna beefing with Jay-Z? That's what people have been speculating about after they noticed that the Barbadian songstress had unfollowed the rapper's streaming service Tidal on Instagram. Further fueling the rumors, she started following Spotify.

It's unclear what caused the move, but MTO News suspected that Rih might be wanting to break up with Tidal and move to Spotify. One fan, meanwhile, claimed her latest social media activity was not surprising because Tidal once "leaked" her 2016 album "Anti" to boost the sales of Beyonce Knowles' "Lemonade". The said fan wrote, "I don't blame her. She's has been (sic) been unhappy ever since the leaked (sic) anti."

Another echoed the sentiment, "Well Tidal f'd up her last album drop anyways, so not mad." Some others, meanwhile, believe that it's just all about business. "She is about her money moves. I guarantee you Spotify paid her some sort of residual to solely release her album with them for the first month," a fan said, while someone hoped that the two are not beefing.

Rih has yet to respond to the rumors.

Her alleged beef aside, Rih is currently gearing up for the release of her highly-anticipated album that is expected to be released sometime this year. Back in May, the "Don't Stop the Music" singer confirmed that the upcoming effort would be a reggae album and joked that it would probably titled "R9," a name her fan had given since it would be her ninth studio album.

"I'm about to call it that probably, 'cause they have haunted me with this 'R9, R9, when is R9 coming out?' " she said. "How will I accept another name after that's been burned into my skull?" During the interview, Rih also confirmed that both Lady GaGa and Drake would not be featured on the album.
