AceShowbiz - Jason Momoa isn't turning 40 until Thursday, August 1, but his closest friends were already celebrating it by throwing the actor a surprise birthday party. Among those who attended the bash was his former "Game of Thrones" co-star Emilia Clarke.

In a video that was posted on his YouTube channel, Jason was under the impression that he was going to a simply sushi dinner with some of his friends, only to realize that his pals were gathering to surprise him. The "Aquaman" actor was clearly pleased with the surprise, reacting with a loud "You f***ers!" before happily greeting the guests, who included Emilia and Ian Somerhalder.

As a birthday party would never be completed without a birthday cake, his friends had also prepared one for him. He was presented with a cake made of whiskey and Guinness that depicted a carricature of him rock climbing. It was such a fitting cake for him.

At one point, Jason Facetimed his wife Lisa Bonet to show her how the party looked like. "They f***ing got me," he said to the actress as Emilia also took the time to greet Lisa. The video concluded with Ian sending a special message to the 39-year-old actor, "Hello, so I just walked to this lovely man here and I said thank you, thank you for putting all of this on film."

He continued, "Because this man, Jason Momoa's story, is such a bright and positive story that it should be seen. Momoa, I love you. Happy birthday my dear brother. Proud of you brother, thank you for everything, mahalo."

Emilia also took to her Instagram account to wish her on-screen husband a happy birthday. Alongside a photo of them happily hugging each other, she wrote, "With you I feel 2 feet small X 2 [Jason Momoa] HAPPY FREAKING BIRTHDAY BABY! An oversized bath tub of happiness for another year of you."
