In an amendment response as part of his lawsuit against News Group Newspapers Limited, Johnny accuses his ex-wife of stubbing a lit cigarette on his cheek and severing his finger during a 2015 fight.

AceShowbiz - Johnny Depp has hit his ex with a fresh allegation in his libel battle against a newspaper group, alleging she "put a cigarette out" on his cheek.

The movie star has amended his response as part of his lawsuit against News Group Newspapers Limited over a 2018 article that labelled him a "wife-beater".

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Depp now reveals Amber Heard threw a bottle at him that severed his finger and stubbed a lit cigarette on his cheek during a March, 2015 fight in Australia.

Depp claims the fight began after his then-wife spoke with his attorneys about his plans for a post-nuptial agreement.

The actor claims she "flew into a rage" and started screaming at him "abusively" as he tried to get away from her by heading to his basement bar.

He alleges she threw two bottles at him - missing him with the first one and then severing his finger with the second, before she "put a cigarette out on his right cheek."

The Blast has also obtained a photo of Depp lying on a hospital gurney, with his hand bandaged, and what Depp's legal team says is the cigarette burn on his cheek.

Depp admits he "wrote on a mirror and walls in blood and oil paint" but claims he was in shock at the time, but he denies Heard's allegations he urinated in the house.

Heard has fired back at her ex-husband's latest allegation, insisting she never burned him with a cigarette.

Her attorney, Eric George, tells The Blast, "This allegation is absurd, offensive and categorically untrue. This photograph proves nothing - apart from the fact that Johnny Depp is desperate to throw out any outlandish allegation to deflect attention from his physical and ongoing psychological abuse of Amber Heard."
