AceShowbiz - It looks like Shaquille O'Neal has found himself a new lady, though his alleged new girlfriend bears a striking resemblance to his ex-wife Shaunie O'Neal. Recently, the former basketball player and the mystery woman enjoyed a beach outing in Europe.
In some pictures that were circulating online, Shaq could be seen snuggling up to the unidentified woman as they soaked up the sun aboard a yacht in Formentera, Spain and were joined by a group of friends. The Hall of Famer went shirtless during the outing, slipping on a pair of blue shorts and goggles as he prepared to dive into the water. Meanwhile, his pretty companion showed off her stunning figure in a skimpy black bikini.
The pair looked like they were having the best time in the world. In other photos, the woman was featured splashing water toward Shaq's direction. Another image saw them relaxing on a rib-style board, with the DJ covering his body with a sleeveless shirt. On the other hand, the mystery woman sported a black cap and matching sunglasses.
Shaq was previously married to Shaunie. The couple got married in December 2002, before the athlete filed for divorce from the "Basketball Wives" star in September 2007. Shaunie later said that the couple had gotten back together and that the divorce was withdrawn, but in November 2009, she filed an intent to divorce, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split.
Talking about their split in an interview, Shaunie said that she blamed Miami for their divorce. Noting that the city has "a different mentality," the reality TV star explained, "Girls are practically sitting in their bra and panties in the arena. When you're trying to keep your husband, that's a lot to take. It was a whole new lifestyle I wasn't ready for. Apparently we didn't have a strong enough foundation for Shaq to withstand that type of temptation."
