In an interview with Comedy Hype, the 51-year-old comedienne opens up about the event leading up to their beef, saying that what the media mogul did to her was 'malicious' and 'ugly.'

AceShowbiz - Mo'Nique and Oprah Winfrey's feud has been going for a long time, but it seems the former doesn't have any plan to put it to an end anytime soon. In an interview with Comedy Hype, the 51-year-old comedienne makes it clear that she refuses to end their feud until the media mogul publicly apologizes to her.

Opening up about the event leading up to the beef, Mo'Nique explains that it happened after her brother, Gerald, reached out to Oprah wanting to appear on her talk show and speak about molesting Mo'Nique when she was still a child. Oprah then called the "Precious" star to ask her whether she wanted to join her brother, but the latter blatantly refused.

But what made Mo'Nique mad was the fact that her mother and father appeared on the show. "She never said my mother was coming on the show, because had she, Oprah Winfrey, said, 'I'm going to have your mother,' I would have said, 'Shut it down. I don't need the world seeing how greedy my mother is. Shut that down,' " she said. "That's one of the reasons why we don't communicate, because of my mother and father's greed. If you had given me the opportunity I would have said, 'I can't put my mother that's still my mother.' "

Mo'Nique said that Oprah called her after that, but the former didn't share her true anger over the situation. She was only able to confront her at a party, but Oprah still didn't fully own up to what she did. "She took the cowardly way out, she said, 'If you think I did something wrong then I want to apologize.' You DID do something wrong, you maliciously [did] and had full intentions of having my parents on your show and not saying anything to me," Mo'Nique shared.

She went on saying that she would be feuding with Oprah "till the day I leave this Earth," unless the 65-year-old "says let me apologize to you publicly." She added, "Because what you did was malicious and it was intentional and it was ugly. Oprah Winfrey, you know you need to do and stop hiding behind what you call negative comments because what people are beginning to do is see you for who you are."
