AceShowbiz - Now that it's only one month away before Taylor Swift drops her highly-anticipated album "Lover", the singer has treated fans to a song that she loves so much on the effort. On Tuesday, July 23, Taylor released the most "emotional and vulnerable and personal" song, "The Archer", among all tracks on the upcoming record.

Produced by Jack Antonoff, the ballad talks about Taylor's insecurities in a relationship. "I've been the archer, I've been the prey/ Who could ever leave me, darling/ But who could stay?" she sings. "Dark side, I search for your dark side/ But what if I'm alright, right, right, right here? And I cut off my nose just to spite my face/ Then I hate my reflection for years and years."

During an Instagram Live, Taylor stated that "The Archer" is not a single and that it would be the fifth track on the album, which is significant if you know anything about the "Delicate" singer's music. She has always made the fifth song off her album emotional, vulnerable and deeply personal. Some examples of that are "Dear John" and "All Too Well".

Besides talking about the new song, Taylor also gave new details about "Lover" during the Live session. The deluxe version of the effort will be available at Target and on her personal website, while the special edition will feature 120 pages from her personal diaries that she has been keeping since she was 13. Fans will also get an empty journal and CD booklet.

"I found some crazy stuff in there. I found the original lyrics of 'All Too Well', which I didn't even know was in my diaries. It's everything from being 13 and coming home from a bad day at school to Grammy night," she said. "I wanted to take this opportunity to celebrate the 13th year of this thing we've got going on."

"Lover" is scheduled to be released on August 23.
