Along with producer Barbara Broccoli, the 'Spectre' star is given a tour of Silverstone Circuit by Geri Halliwell's husband Christian Horner, and meets racers Pierre Gasly and Max Verstappen.

AceShowbiz - Daniel Craig took a day off from filming the new James Bond movie on Sunday to address his need for speed at the British Grand Prix.

The actor travelled to Northamptonshire for the Formula One event at Silverstone, which fellow Brit Lewis Hamilton won to claim his sixth British Grand Prix title.

The 51-year-old appeared to thoroughly enjoy his big day out as he wandered the pit lane and posed for photos with drivers Pierre Gasly and Max Verstappen, who finished fourth and fifth in the race.

Craig, who was a special guest of Red Bull alongside Bond producer Barbara Broccoli, was given a tour of Silverstone by Spice Girls star Geri Halliwell's F1 boss husband Christian Horner, while his famous movie spy was honoured on the Red Bull cars' number plates, with '007' detailing.

The actor is back on set filming what many people believe will be his final Bond film after suffering a nasty ankle injury while shooting in Jamaica earlier this year (May 2019). Craig underwent an operation and was sidelined for weeks as he recovered.

"Bond 25" is set for release on April 3, 2020.

Craig wasn't the only celebrity non-driver at Silverstone - Hamilton's rapper pal Stormzy waved the chequered flag to signal the end of the race, while actress Millie Bobby Brown was spotted hanging out with Geri Halliwell and her Spice Girls bandmate Mel B (Melanie Brown).
