Bosses at New Beverly Cinema have been granted a restraining order after their banning of an unnamed guy led to terrorism threat set for 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood' debut.

AceShowbiz - Bosses at the Los Angeles cinema Quentin Tarantino bought over a decade ago have been granted a restraining order against a man who threatened to shoot up the place.

The unnamed guy was banned from New Beverly Cinema for inappropriate behaviour towards female patrons, and fired back with a terrorism threat, which staff took seriously enough to ask for protection.

Documents filed in Los Angeles and obtained by The Blast contain online posts and text messages sent by the man, including one that reads, "all Millennials should be mass murdered."

He then warned movie fans to stay away from New Beverly on 25 July - when Tarantino's new film "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" debuts - threatening to commit a violent act that would make him famous.

The cinema's manager claims the man has obtained the phone numbers of a number of employees and also has Tarantino's home address, adding he has attempted to talk to Quentin.

Los Angeles police officials have referred the case to their Threat Management Unit, while the restraining order was granted.

Tarantino is not among the people named on the list of protected parties.
