Upset social media users point out that the former boxer never uses his money to help others in need, with one saying, 'N***a has nothing else to do? Take it to the homeless.'

AceShowbiz - Everyone has their own way to celebrate the Fourth of July. In Floyd Mayweather, Jr.'s case, he chose to celebrate the United States' Independence Day by showing off his wealth on social media. However, not many people appreciated it and proceeded to criticize the former professional boxer.

Taking to his Instagram account, Floyd shared a video of him showing off $1.8 million in $100 bills being laid out on a table and an extra $200,000 in $20 bills. The camera then panned to the boxing promoter as he flaunted the gold chain hanging around her neck. "I was once told that 'the loudest person in the room is the weakest person in the room.' Well, that works for the individuals that's doing something illegal," he said in the caption.

Floyd continued, "But in my case, I'm happy to flaunt my legal wealth and brag about being a black man that came from poverty, beat all odds and not give a f**k about what anybody thinks. Happy 4th, this is my independence! Now, let the fireworks begin!"

While Floyd meant to show how hard he worked to get to who he is today, people pointed out that he never uses his money to help others in need and that made them upset. "All that money and u never see him do anything for his community start a after school center for the kids who don't have anything buy books for a school s**t donate some computers to a poor school to help our youth," one said, while some others deemed him "ignorant."

"N***a has nothing else to do? Take it to the homeless," one other said as someone else similarly told him, "Why don't you give some of that away to people who actually need it lmao. Greedy as f**k like why brag so much who tf Cares."

However, Floyd apparently stayed unbothered by the backlash as he hit back at one of his haters, "For someone to comment negatively on a post on MY PAGE, it's obvious they care about me and what I got going on."
