In newly-filed court documents, the 'Touch My Body' hitmaker's attorney specifies that Lianna Azarian has 'disclosed non-public information' about the singer to the Daily Mail newspaper.

AceShowbiz - Mariah Carey has accused her former personal assistant of leaking her medical records to the press.

The iconic diva sued her former employee Lianna Azarian, also known as Lianna Shakhnazaryan, in January, alleging she tried to blackmail her out of $8 million by threatening to leak damaging revelations about her private life.

According to editors at the New York Post's Page Six gossip column, Mariah's attorney filed documents at Manhattan Supreme Court on Monday, June 24, alleging Lianna leaked details of her medical history and financial affairs to Britain's Daily Mail newspaper.

Articles published by the Mail in June, alleged the "Touch My Body" hitmaker had splurged on cosmetic surgery procedures, including $10,000 butt-enhancing injections in Beverly Hills and a $273,000 designer clothes spending spree on Christmas Eve 2016, and hid the transactions on her assistant's American Express credit card. Another story alleged Mariah had cheated on her billionaire ex-fiance James Packer with her backup dancer Bryan Tanaka, who she is now dating.

In her new filing, Mariah claims Lianna, "disclosed non-public information about Carey's personal, medical and professional affairs to the press."

The star is demanding at least $5 million in damages, claiming her ex-employee breached a 2015 confidentiality and non-disclosure agreement she signed when she was hired in March 2015.

The singer's team claim she paid her former assistant $327,000 and entrusted her with her family secrets, but that Lianna built up a trove of damaging video clips and personal information about her boss and threatened to go to the press after she was fired in 2017.

Lianna denies the allegations and has responded by suing her old boss and her ex-manager Stella Bulochnikov, alleging wrongful termination, sexual harassment, emotional distress, and battery.

Mariah settled a lawsuit brought by Stella, who accused the star of harassing her by walking around naked, in January.
