The Nick Fury depicter is upset that a poster promoting the upcoming 'Spider-Man' movie features his character wearing an eye patch on his right eye rather than the correct left eye.

AceShowbiz - Samuel L. Jackson has been a part of Marvel Cinematic Universe since its beginning with 2008's "Iron Man", but apparently not everyone knows his character Nick Fury so well. The actor recently noticed an error in a "Spider-Man: Far From Home" poster and he's not happy about it.

The 70-year-old star pointed this out on Instagram on Sunday, June 23 by posting a photo of two side-by-side "Far From Home" posters. One of the posters features his character wearing his signature eye patch on his right eye, rather than the correct left eye. The other poster, however, places the eye patch on the correct eye.

Making it clear that he's upset, Jackson wrote in the caption, "Uhhhhhhh, What In The Actual F** K IS GOING ON HERE???!!! #headsgonroll #lefteyemuthafu**ah."

The photo was first posted online by an eagle-eyed Marvel fan on Reddit with the humorous title, "Which eye did he injure?" Another Reddit user hilariously responded, "All this time Nick Fury has just been defrauding the government for disability." Another one suggested, "Obviously, one of the pictures is actually a selfie which is why it's flipped compared to the other."

The origin of Fury's iconic eye patch was revealed in "Captain Marvel", when Fury's eye was scratched by Goose, which looked like a household cat but was actually an alien called a flerken.

Jackson will reprise his role as Fury in "Far From Home", which is set to bow on July 2. Tom Holland returns as Peter Parker a.k.a. Spider-Man, with Zendaya Coleman, Jacob Batalon and Marisa Tomei among other returning cast members. Jake Gyllenhaal additionally stars as Mysterio.

Holland recently angered Marvel fans by spoiling a major death in "Avengers: Endgame". "The film is a direct continuation of 'Avengers: Endgame', so we deal with the ramifications of the blip, of the death of Tony Stark," he said when promoting his upcoming movie on "The Graham Norton Show". He added, "Sorry if anyone hasn't seen the film! If you haven't, then you're living under a rock, to be honest."

One person who hasn't got a chance to watch the movie responded, "Thanks for giving a spoiler away on the Graham Norton Show. Yes ok, so we've not seen Endgame yet but we were still looking forward to watching it 💔#RUINED."

Another sarcastically commented, "Oh, cheers, Tom Holland! I haven't seen Avengers Endgame yet. Thanks for the massive spoiler." Someone else complained, "I've actual avoided avengers spoilers for months and I've watched graham norton for 5 mins n Tom Holland's ruined it."
